    I tried it and it worked, but when I press the little house button in the
    upper left corner it still leads me to searchnu409. Did I do something
    wrong or is it something you can help me with?

    If you mean have a blank page on firefox start-up goto:
    Firefox/Options/Options... and click on the "general" tab... then select
    next to "when firefox starts" click on the down arrow and then "show a
    blank page"...

    Got it. Have to disable addons and the datamangr Then delete a searchplugin
    file for searchnu in C:Program Files (x86)Mozilla Firefoxsearchplugins

    well... i am using another computer to write a comment here because i
    realised that after infected by searchnu, all my browers (ie, firefox,
    chrome) are now unable to visit youtube anymoer....ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

    If you hover your mouse over "Help", in the Firefox drop down arrow, you
    can select a bottom called "Technical Information" (I don't know what it is
    called in english). This bottom will open a new tab in your browser which
    contains a lot of information about Firefox. At the under information about
    the program you can open a "Profile Folder" (I don't know what this is
    called in english either). In this folder there will be a folder called
    "searchqu" and another called something with search.

    I just bought a new laptop and signed in to my google account and mystart
    incredibar appeared out of nowhere. i can't see it in control panel, it's
    not under extensions. I dont have it on IE, just Chrome, and i cant get rid
    of it. any suggestions?

    It works fixed Firefox had to do about:config>browser.newtab.url to

    Hi, great video and it seemed to work until I opened a new tab and there it
    is again. I'm using firefox with Windows 7, any ideas would be greatly

    In Chrome click on the button top right (three lines on) and goto
    "Tools/Extensions"... there disable all your extensions or delete ones you
    think could be suspicious by clicking on the trashcan icon next to them...
    then restart Chrome to see if that fixes it.
