Wanted to share my discovery. I had problems in input monitoring when working in my DAW. Turns out that using the Line6 GX in ASIO mode works far better than...
How to fix The lag you get when you play notes on your midi controller in FL Studio.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
@kodoku42 you got here in the end. and less troubles so its benefits all
ОтветитьУдалитьaround! :)
i used ASIO from the beginning. its awesumz
ОтветитьУдалить@HCXanithon yes, and it took me forever to figure out. Guess the waveout
ОтветитьУдалитьthing was stuck from my pod2.0 and tri-ac days.
@kodoku42 now that your problem's solved you should start recording nonstop
ОтветитьУдалить:D
@kodoku42 yeah its awesome cuz hearing the cab on there live makes you
ОтветитьУдалитьwrite sick shit like nothing. its like DAMN. its fun! oh man im still
struggling to get a better tone. mine is really good but the more i mess
with it, the more i hear the line 6 crap in there. man i cant escape it.
boogex is awesome. and ive got sick impulses to go with them. but i dont
know man....
something's missin here..oh,wait,ITS YOUR HAIR MAN!!!
ОтветитьУдалить@hideki12345 true :D and I struggled for a year without asio lol.
ОтветитьУдалитьshort hair= win
ОтветитьУдалитьThanks so much, and never mind your response time! This is critical
ОтветитьУдалитьinformation stated plainly and unequivocally, that saves someone like
myself without much know-how a lot of hair-pulling; I've found the like
pretty hard to come by. My thanks are late, now; I've been trying to digest
it and come up with an intelligent response. The best I've come up with is
to ask whether, if it was quick and easy, you would do a manual correction
to eliminate latency altogether. -from Steve-
i use an adopter and i conect my guitar staight to my pc.... why i have
ОтветитьУдалитьdelay?
@ekmii Guess I didn't realize that I could use it for playback, not just
ОтветитьУдалитьfor pod farm sounds but every other sound on the daw as well :) better late
than never I guess.
@deathcore1239 SO true! BKP's or other passive 8's. Good that I still have
ОтветитьУдалитьmy stratocaster with dimarzios :D
@deathcore1239 HAHahaAHHAHAahahAAHHAAHHAHAahhahAAHAH
ОтветитьУдалитьsomeone needs seymour duncan blackouts. or bareknuckles if you can get em
ОтветитьУдалить@LordHines42 I used the 5150 model in this video with noise gate and pre
ОтветитьУдалитьeq. I searched random forums about latency issues and never found out the
asio thing. It's actually very inspiring now that - for the first time ever
- I can make "final" tone before I even start recording. Can't wait to
write new riffs.
hankkia ku toi HD kodeekki emossa. M-audio hakusessa rca innillä ja
outputilla mixerille.
buy a M-audio delta 66 with the omni I/O break out box, only $150. best
ОтветитьУдалитьinvestment I have ever made, i have a latency of 2.4ms which is nothing.....
Have you tried ASIO4ALL? it's an universal ASIO driver that also maybe
ОтветитьУдалитьhelpful to you
@LordHines420 Maybe it's better to give up and go buy axe-fx :D lol if I
ОтветитьУдалитьjust had the money. Still there are people who get nice djentz with line6
like drewsif. Yeah boogex is nice for its features like pre-impulse eq,
drive and dynamics control and that frequency response thing. I've got the
recabinet library which has like a ton of impulses but mostly I've been
using mesa or orange with sm57 :D there is so much more to try out.
From 4:35 onward you move your adams-apple along to your playing xD
ОтветитьУдалить...occassionally i do it without noticing too, for some mysterious reason
God bless you sir.
ОтветитьУдалитьI wish I new you were having problems! I've always used ASIO, but I think
ОтветитьУдалитьit takes a tad more processing.
I need some help,I just bought a recording software and audio interface,
ОтветитьУдалитьbut when I record my guitar the audio lag is so bad I think its at 50 ms
latancy,is there a way to fix it its inposable to record when you hear
whats coming out of the speakers at a difrent timing then what im actually
playing, its really messing up my timing,Im using studio one by
personus.its driving me crazy
I probably didn't mention it. But it was your average motherboard
ОтветитьУдалитьintegrated Realtek HD Audio. And my guitar interface is a Line6 Pod Studio
GX.
thanks man, solved my big problem
ОтветитьУдалитьjust install ASIO4ALL driver. works much better, less work. just google
ОтветитьУдалитьasio4all. it is the first result.
Hey man, i did that, but the latency (delay) continues!! what do you think
ОтветитьУдалитьi should do? i use my onboard soundcard (motherboard), do you think i need
to buy one offboard? i heard i need one to install the asio4all, and then
i'll have no delay, is that true?
Man I messages like three times with this issues and u already had a
ОтветитьУдалитьtut.lol thank u
thanks for this man. really helpful!
ОтветитьУдалитьNice, Thank you :3
ОтветитьУдалитьThank you so, so, so, so much! This was driving me up the wall. You are
ОтветитьУдалитьawesome!
Thanks a lot bro. This really helped me.
ОтветитьУдалитьMy right ear is lonely
ОтветитьУдалитьHey bro i tried that but didn't work for me . my real problem is that when
ОтветитьУдалитьi record everything gets in front of the bar that i thought i played well
freezeonthetrack.blogspot.com
Thanks so much, there isnt one other video up about this problem and
ОтветитьУдалитьfinally it's fixed
life saver. thanx.
ОтветитьУдалитьyour welcome, but thank you for watching !
ОтветитьУдалитьthanks bro :)
ОтветитьУдалитьI get a terrible distortion and crackling sound if I put it any lower than
ОтветитьУдалить41ms
@plod78 that sounds like polling, try turning polling off.your screen
ОтветитьУдалитьshould look like this image below (copy link)
NO worries FL Studio Wont Kill Your CPU, if anything it will crash before
ОтветитьУдалитьthat happens,my advice to you would be , buy a better audio card, or buy an
audio Interface, on board Audio cards suck for use with FL studio, trust me
I've been down that road. guarantee you if you get a new audio card that
lagging will stop.
i dont use any keyboard , but when i play the beat to hear the new stuff
ОтветитьУдалитьive added it sometimes starts laggin for about 5 seconds and then carries
on normal ... i have stopped using fl now because im kinda scrared of it
killing my pc ... i have intel(R) celeron(R) CPU 2.60GHz 2.59GHz, 1,49GB
RAM ... do you have any advice for me or should i just copy what you did in
your video ?
Yay!! Thanks :D
ОтветитьУдалитьThanks !!!!!! I been tryin to fix this problem for 2 months and i finally
ОтветитьУдалитьknow how to do it, Thank you so much for making this video :)
great tutorial! thank you!
ОтветитьУдалитьwhat happens if i dont have key rig 49? because mine says nothing
ОтветитьУдалить@Cknotetmp Am I one of the ppl it won't work for? I can't get any sound, or
ОтветитьУдалитьfigure out how to get sound, when I make asio4all my primary sound driver
:( What can I do??
i still have that stutter noise. any suggestions?
ОтветитьУдалитьty
ОтветитьУдалить@Cknotetmp I did both, and I'm still getting a crackle. any advice?
