omg. I think I watched part of this and then I bet I walked away and it didn't pause or something?? Because that whole thing about the netbook was missing. I know I remembered the printer and the midgees and everything else. Geesh.
My son did the same thing to my printer. After yelling and screaming at it for 20 minutes it somehow "fixed" itself...or it got tired of me yelling at it :) I have been on a candy corn phase ...but the tootsie rolls look tempting . We are waiting to see if Hurricane Earl hits us ....hoping it doesn't because I am taking my kiddos to the fair tomorrow. Good luck with the printer :)
Hey Stacy, a computer friend of mine says it's a printer problem not a computer problem. He says to try to take out the printer ink cartridge and put it back in again just like you are installing a new one. Follow the steps you would normally use to change an ink cartridge and when that done the printer should reset itself cause that should bring the paper tray back to where it should be. This should un-jam it if not you need to look in your printer manual for the reset button.
@Iloveinsegnamento He also said that your friend might have broken or misplaced one of the rollers. My friend has had this happen to him before and the ink things is all he did to reset it. He's a computer programmer, so I hope that helps a little :-) good luck!!
Wish I could help you. I'd just get a new printer right away. The fail safe thing is to unplug everything. Okay you just said you couldn't do it. Get some skinny kid to come and help you. I think if you unplugged, turned off, replugged, restarted, you would be in business. I love midgees.
Hi stacey...try this it might sort your printer problem...try to uninstall the printer software and switch of your computer off for 15mins to 1/2 hr then switch it back on and reinstall the printer software and switch off your computer again for 5 mins and once you switch your computer back on the printer should work....hope you get the printer working...:)
Oh do not get me started on printers :) It is a HP isn't it? :) I have been on hold with them many times :O I do have a baby printer that is very cool & works well. Sure wish I could got to ST4 :( I know you have a great time. Send lots of videos & pics OK I made little mini pizzas today & Jelly/Apricot bars very yummy. I'm with you on this one. I'm so stressed about my printer too. I just went and spent $20 to fill the black ink it up. It has 4 ink cartridges & the black was empty. Weird because..got the printer brand new 4 yrs ago and used it twice. Only thing it will do Occasionally is spit some yellow out . Its goin thru the window arrrgggh LOL. Hi kitty :)
Ok Stacey a friend of mine had the same problem The computer wasn`t recognizing it....what i did was went and uninstalled the printer and reinstall it....Are you using XP? 1. Start 2. Control Panel 3. Add Remove Programs Look for the printer and uninstall it...Then ( hopefully you have the software for the printer ) Insert it and just follow the instructions...

Same thing happened to us. We uninstalled and re-installed the software and
