How to fix no sound in Firefox
You can see in this video how to fix it if you don't hear any sound in Firefox, like Youtube and other stuff.

    My youtube video's (the audio portion) stopped playing on news articles a
    couple days ago. Only when in Firefox. They played fine on IE. In Firefox
    the speaker icon had an X next to it. Tried everything I knew with no
    results. I just followed Marc12313's video and it works!!! If he goes too
    fast pause and back up. It is right on!! I was kind of reluctant to delete
    the registry file but am glad I found this process.

    Useless, no relation to my onscreen results. Beware of flying blind in
    regedit.

    Hi, it worked last time Adobe Flash Player did an auto update. This time,
    it didn't work, the Adobe Flash Player version is 11.8.800.168. Please

    HERE'S THE FIX: I BELIEVE IV FIGURED IT OUT WITH SOME HELP.:GO INTO
    BROWSERS PLUGIN DATABASE WHICH IS A LIST OF PLUGINS THAT YOUR BROWSER USES
    I.E. MACROMEDIA FLASH, SILVERLIGHT ETC...DISABLE ONE AND PLAY A VIDEO...IF
    YOUVE DISABLED ONE AND YOU HAVE SOUND...YOUVE FOUND YOUR PROBLEM.

    You deserve a medal of some sort! Thanks so much, that fixed the problem. I
    had tried reinstalling an older version of flash, and a bunch of other
    fixes, but nothing worked until this. Cool song by the way.

    still there is no sound on my internet but I tested it some songs on
    Windows Movie Maker and it worked, but when I tested it on YouTube still
    there is no sound. I have searched in like Google, YouTube out of three but
    neither one of them worked. Last night when I bought my soundcard I still
    have some sound, then when I woke up today it doesn't have sound any more.
    :( is it my speaker, or my pc?

    it does, but my problem now is that how come i can hear this vid's sound
    but still can't hear the other vid's sounds, because of which case i
    searched for a solution and got here!? :)

    after microsoft/internet explorer/lowregistry I can't find a folder called
    audio. I think I can guess now, what the problem might be. question: how do
    I fix it?

    @wererich I had the same issue. I've been trying for 2 days fooling around
    with registries, and this was the problem.

    This worked for me. Make sure to right click on audio icon, go to mixer and
    bring the firefox bar up all the way.

    reloading will always fix this problem .i tried your way by deleting the
    file shown in the last step but if u searched Firefox name again it will
    give u another damn file to delete and thise thing keeps on going but it
    didn't work for me .
