Your PC is very similar to mine, currently. The key differences is that I have 2 more gigs of RAM (very little difference from 4 that I had before playing this game), and that I have a quad core CPU. That's what is slowing you down, I think. I play this on medium settings with this mod and used to play the unmodded game on high settings.
