Fix for Wii DVD drive rattle noise and related disc read error
This is a fix for noisy Wii DVD drives, and the reason for the noise as well.... note that this will also fix disc reading errors, caused by this vibration. ...
so u use this when its making noise? everytime i turn my WII on it makes noise in the disc tray area and it doesnt even read the disc..should i try this?
Thank you very much, I had a similar problem, with DVD game, I can't insert the disk, and only push disk insert tabs and my problem was solved. (not was necessary open my Wii)
Thanks for posting this, MrModiste. I'd been trying to solve this for days. Had the drive apart but never noticed those tabs. Only one was very slightly bent, straightening it fixed the noise and disk read issues immediately.
How do u open the wii?
